By using QuizVault ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of Service

QuizVault is a free quiz platform. You may use it to take quizzes, create quizzes, and participate in community features. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

2. Accounts

Creating an account is optional but required for some features (quiz creation, leaderboards, progress syncing). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. We authenticate via email verification codes — no passwords are stored.

3. User-Created Content

  • You retain ownership of quizzes you create
  • By publishing a quiz, you grant QuizVault a license to display and distribute it on the platform
  • You must not create quizzes containing hate speech, harassment, explicit content, or copyrighted material
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Attempting to manipulate scores, XP, or leaderboards
  • Automated access or scraping of the platform
  • Impersonating other users
  • Uploading malicious content or attempting to compromise the service
  • Spamming quizzes, comments, or other features

5. Intellectual Property

The QuizVault platform, design, and branding are our intellectual property. Seed quizzes and platform content are owned by QuizVault. User-created quiz content remains the property of the creator.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of quiz content, continuous availability, or that the service will meet your specific requirements. Quiz scores and XP are for entertainment purposes only.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
